Kids Coast to Coast began with the generous hearts of Hannah and Eddie Jinks and their children, Aerilyn, Ellie, Ed, and Ryan of New Jersey. With a deep awareness of the abundant blessings God had given their family, Hannah felt a pull toward generosity. She didn’t just want to give; she wanted to show her children how to live a life that notices need and responds with love. Rooted in scriptures like Luke 12:48, Proverbs 31:8–9, and James 1:25–26, their family had already been practicing this together to bless others in the adoption community. In February 2023, Hannah reached out to Dana about her desire not to simply write a check, but to create opportunities for their children to use their time and energy to serve. That conversation sparked something none of us could have fully imagined.
Just two months later, with hundreds of shirts stacked in their home, Kids Coast to Coast was born. While those early days may not have been polished or efficient, they were beautiful. Families across the country quickly joined, and as the sign-ups came in the shirts were shipped out. Every package was touched by the Jinks children – folded, labeled, packed, and carried – each step teaching them they have something meaningful to offer. On the Sacred Selections social media pages, Hannah and the kids shared the hearts and impact of kids across America by reading names, posting photos and stories, and recording promotional videos. From Alaska to Florida and everywhere in between, a passion for serving and teaching kids to serve had caught fire. Over the past three years, hundreds of children have come together, raising well over $100,000 to support families pursuing adoption through Sacred Selections. As the Jinks children so beautifully said, “We couldn’t do it on our own, so we did it together! Even though we are just kids, when we all do our part, we can complete a big job.”

As the Jinks family hands off the leadership of Kids Coast to Coast this year, we want them to know just how deeply they are appreciated.
Hannah, your willingness to follow that quiet pull toward generosity and to invite your children into it has created something far beyond a program. You gave others a way to say “yes,” to step into service, to teach their own children what it looks like to love in action. It has been a privilege to labor side by side, like those in Nehemiah 3, and to witness the ripple effect of your family’s faith. We are honored to carry this work forward, holding onto the heart behind it.
Registration for Kids Coast to Coast 2026 is now open, and we look ahead with gratitude, committed to continuing what the Jinks family began and trusting that, together, God will keep doing more than any of us could do on our own.
