Payton Davis

Payton Andrew Davis, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away October 16, 2022, at the age of 24 at UAB Hospital after a two-year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

He was a faithful Christian who deeply loved God and a member of the Church of Christ on Kelly Spring Road in Harvest, Alabama. He was a 2017 graduate of Sparkman High School in Harvest, Alabama and a 2021 graduate of Auburn University with Honors in Computer Science. He was employed by Lockheed Martin in Huntsville and enjoyed computer games, disc golf, and 3-D printing. He was a fierce and loyal friend and a role model to many, especially to the many young children at church who affectionately referred to him as Pay Pay. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Erlene Davis and Linda Beich. He is survived by his parents, Philip and Gena Davis of Huntsville, Alabama, his brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Heather Davis of Ogden, Utah, his grandfather Larry Beich of Huntsville, Alabama, his girlfriend, Jessica Morrow of Russellville, Alabama and multiple uncles, aunts, and cousins along with numerous friends.

Payton lived by a motto of Go Fight Win. Even with all the pain and suffering that Payton went through over the past two years, he continued to embrace this motto and inspired so many others to live as he did.
