Clara Jean Allen of Wichita, KS, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 90 years old.
Jean was born in Judsonia, AR, on September 23, 1931, the eighth of nine children. She moved to Wichita, KS at the age of 16 to go to business college. She met and married Bobby Lou Allen. They were married 69 years before his passing. They were members of Westside Church of Christ in Wichita, KS. She was an elders wife and taught children and ladies Bible classes for many years.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Clara Chrystal, all eight of her siblings, and husband Bobby Lou Allen. She is survived by her sons Lyndell Allen, Steve Allen and wife Carol Allen, four grandchildren Amber Huggins, Jamie Feil, Benjamin Allen and Carry Brown, and by eleven great-grand children.
