For almost 20 years, Sacred Selections has removed the financial barrier to adoption by providing grants to Christian families seeking to adopt. In each case, Sacred Selections supporters have the privilege of helping families on their journey with prayers, donations, and encouragement.
In her work supporting families on their adoption journeys, Dana Carrozza provided families with guidance for the process. The growing families created a network of support for one another and continue to be resources for each other throughout their years of parenting.
GRANT STRUCTURE
At the core of our mission is a simple conviction: money should never stand between a child and a loving, Christian home. For years, your faithful partnership has allowed us to offer full adoption grants to families with significant financial need — opening doors for more than five hundred children to find safety, love, and belonging.
There have been Christian couples over time who approached Dana with the heart to adopt and the personal finances to cover the cost of their adoption without a grant. These families look to benefit from the community of Sacred Selections families and our network of resources, trusted partners, and encouragement throughout the process. Whether a family needs financial help, practical support, or prayerful guidance, we continue to be honored to walk alongside them every step of the way.
Over the past year, though, it has become apparent that there is another group of families in need of support. Some families do not need full funding but still encounter gaps that are insurmountable. That’s why we’re excited to share that we’ve expanded our grant program to offer partial adoption grants — helping more families take the final step in bringing their child home.
PARTIAL GRANT STRUCTURE
In most every adoption, funds are required at various points in the process: when an expectant mother chooses a family to care for her child, when that child is born and is placed in legal custody of the family, and when that child is fully and finally adopted into their new family.
Families with a partial grant have the funds to pay some of these expenses. Thanks to your support, we are able to step in to cover the rest of the costs. Not every family needs a full grant, but every child needs a home, and a partial grant gives more families the ability to say “yes” to these precious little ones in need.
2025 has already seen placement of two children with partial grant families, and we anticipate more in the coming months. Your support makes this possible—and together, we are removing financial barriers and seeing more children welcomed into loving, Christ-centered homes.
