Elizabeth Agnes Glass, age 90, of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on February 22, 2026.
Born in Dechy, France, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Stanislas and Mara Goreka Andrzejewski. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John F. Glass II and her loving great-grandson, John David Ayres.
Elizabeth’s bright blue eyes and beautiful smile reflected the love and warmth she shared so freely with everyone around her. To her family and friends, she was affectionately called “Meme.” She spent her later years living with her son and daughter-in-law in Pikeville, Kentucky, after having lived for over 40 years in Northwest Arkansas.
She was a devoted member of the South Mayo Church of Christ in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Meme is survived by her son, James Glass and his wife Rachelle; her daughter, Elizabeth Tatum and her husband Lewis; and her cherished grandchildren: Donald St. Martin III (Anna Marie), Tim St. Martin (Melissa), Krystine Ayres (Paul), Ryan Glass (Maddie), Andrew, Kaliste and Hailey Tatum. Meme was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Christiane Rowden and nephews Tim and David Rowden.

Elizabeth’s life was a testament to enduring love, faith and family. A faithful follower of Christ, her gentle spirit, blue eyes and radiant smile will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held in Pikeville, Kentucky on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a memorial service following from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
