Dear Friends and Supporters – As we come to the close of a remarkable year, the Board of Directors extends our heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast generosity. Your support has carried the mission of helping children in need have a seat at the table in a Christian home.
See below for a message about your impact this year.
The team chose “To the Work” to be the theme and core message for 2025 in hopes that it would be a rally-point for families, volunteers, and supporters. It reminds us that this kingdom work is sacred, urgent, and worth every effort. Together, we leaned into that calling with extraordinary results and this year has exceeded expectations.
Our prayer as a Board was that at least 35 children would be placed with Sacred Selections families in 2025, and at this moment there have been 53! Alongside these placements, there have been over 25 local fundraisers with volunteers putting together book sales, pancake breakfasts, pickleball tournaments, and auctions. Kids from Florida to Alaska joined in for Coast to Coast, and new chapters have started making plans to hold events in their area for 2026. Your volunteering, giving, and prayers have made you an integral part of the success of the year and we are thankful you answered the call “To the Work.”
We prayed for more families able to provide homes for more children and those prayers were answered! So much so, that earlier this year we became concerned the funds needed to cover adoption expenses would be exhausted and a pause in our work become necessary. The team started reaching out to individuals to ask if they were able to give and donations from over 60 supporters made sure that there was no gap between a busy, fruitful summer and the fall fundraisers that we rely on. The end of the year has also seen gifts from so many of you as you act on your conviction that children from vulnerable beginnings deserve the care and love of a home that will raise them to know the Lord.
As we look forward to the coming year, more families are preparing, more children are waiting, and, as we’ve seen this year, needs can rise urgently as the calls come in. Calls about a baby born at 27 weeks and waiting in the NICU, or about a toddler in need of a family who can provide medical care, or about a mother who is due any day and wants to choose a Christian family for her baby. To continue saying, “Yes!” to each of these situations, we need to enter the new year strengthened and prepared. Your continued support ensures that growth is not a barrier, but a blessing.
Thank you for being people who not only believe in this mission, but who join in the mission. Thank you for putting hands and hearts to the work and contributing to building a culture of adoption. We are humbled to work alongside you and committed to seeing this good work carried forward.
With deep gratitude,
