Anna Fairfax Roberts

Anna Fairfax Roberts (known as “Fairfax” or “Fair” to her loved ones) passed away at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL on May 25, 2023 after a sudden unknown illness. Her parents were at her bedside, singing her to sleep one last time. She was born on May 6, 2018 to parents Sarah and Will Roberts in Alexandria, VA. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her calm presence, her kindness, her femininity, her strength, her thoughtfulness, her wit, and her public displays of affection. Her laughter and joy were infectious. She admired her two big sisters and was another “mommy” to her younger sister. Her favorite things on this earth were lying in her mommy’s arms, playing tickle monster with her daddy, walking along the beach, and spending time with her sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. She enjoyed swimming, dancing, playing piano, and doing gymnastics. Her relationship with her cousin, Della Bunting, has been compared by many to the friendship of David and Jonathan in 1 Samuel 18:1. She adored her friends and her preschool teachers, Mrs. Voss and Mrs. Sowers, at Precious Promises Preschool. She was deeply passionate about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, always quick to pray before meals and before bedtime, and never forgetting a single person for whom she was thankful, or a single person who needed her prayers. Fairfax is survived by her parents, Sarah and Will, and her sisters Sally Roe (10), Emmie (9), and Kate (2). The family will receive friends for visitation at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 10. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Fairfax to be given to the James R. Cope Adopt Program at Florida College, and/or to the Sacred Selections.
