The call to serve the vulnerable permeates God’s word. One way to fulfill these deeds - outlined by Jesus as the work of His sheep - is to commit to loving and parenting a child in need: taking on full responsibility for their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Why adoption?
Standing Ready to Answer the Call
In 2023, there were 59 children placed in loving adoptive homes with support from Sacred Selections. This is wonderful! But with calls coming regularly to ask if we know a loving family that is ready to step forward for a child, we hope to always be able to answer with a resounding, “yes!”

Sacred Selections is not an adoption agency, but we have learned many lessons over the years working with agencies and adopting couples and have many adoption stories.
Adoption is a walk of faith.
People come to adoption for many different reasons. For Mike and Chelsea, they felt the call to it by seeing children in need. The timing of when they might adopt became clear, and as a result, their understanding of God’s great love deepened and blossomed as they stepped forward to care for a fellow one of His little lambs.
